Our airline operates a modern fleet of Airbus A350s, A330s, and Boeing 747s/787s, connecting passengers across a vast transatlantic and global network. This role is a career that requires a high degree of service orientation, safety consciousness, and intercultural competence.
Core Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility is the safety and well-being of all passengers on board. You will perform pre-flight safety and security checks, conduct clear safety briefings, and manage any in-flight safety or medical emergencies with efficiency and professionalism. You will also deliver our premium inflight service, cater to the needs of international passengers, and ensure a comfortable and pleasant journey for all.
Qualifications & Requirements:
We seek dedicated team players with a passion for service. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess the unrestricted right to work in the United States. A valid passport for international travel is mandatory. A High School Diploma or GED is required; a college degree or vocational training is advantageous. Fluency in English is required; fluency in German is highly advantageous for this role. Candidates must have no visible tattoos or piercings that cannot be covered by the uniform and must pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical check and background investigation.
Training & Work Schedule:
Successful candidates will be flown to Germany to attend our comprehensive, paid 12-week training program at the Lufthansa Aviation Training Center in Frankfurt (transport and accommodation are provided). This position requires flexibility for a variable roster, including nights, weekends, holidays, and long-haul transatlantic flights.
Compensation & Benefits:
Lufthansa offers a competitive salary, with an estimated annual base from $40,000 to $60,000, supplemented by hourly flight pay and per diem allowances.
